Kraken return to Counter-Strike 2 with MAZRAEA roster

On December 16th, Kraken announced their return to Counter-Strike 2 with the signing of the MAZRAEA ESEA Advanced roster. The organization last hosted an ESEA Main roster in May and also hosted an Advanced team at the start of the year. MAZRAEA had been out in free agency for sometime after their short-lived stint with Atlantis came to an end in late in late August.

The now-Kraken roster have had a decent end of the year, with the squad notching a top-four finish in both ESEA Season 55 Elite Cups while also making Advanced playoffs twice. While the squad beat a number of notable lineups to achieve these results, it unfortunately did not garner the team any prize money or VRS points, with the team still chasing their place in the scene.

Kraken will await the start of ESEA Advanced Season 56 next year.
