Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 Day 4-5 recap: Voca, BOSS move to 2-0

The first two rounds of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 wrapped up after five days of play.

Four teams have moved into the 2-0 and 0-2 pool, respectively, while the remaining eight teams sit at 1-1.

LAG 0-2 Pulse

LAG were narrowly beaten by Outfit 49 in the first round, but their miseries were compounded by Pulse in the 0-1 match. Pulse started with a commanding 9-3 lead on their pick of Dust2. LAG couldn't get anything going, losing the first map 13-4.

LAG took control in the early game on Inferno, taking an impressive 8-4 advantage on the T side. Their joy would end there, though, as Pulse came back with a fury in the second half. Pulse won nine out of ten rounds to come back and secure the 13-9 win and 2-0 sweep over LAG.

BOSS 2-0 Outfit 49

On the opposite side of the spectrum, it was BOSS v. Outfit 49 in a match to advance to 2-0. BOSS came out on Outfit 49's pick with a hot start. BOSS held a 10-2 lead at the end of the first half on their opponents' pick, Inferno. Outfit 49 couldn't muster anything in the second half, losing 13-2.

Mirage was BOSS's pick, and it was more of the same for them. This time they went one better, holding an 11-1 lead at halftime. Outfit 49 won a few rounds in the second period, but it mattered little, as BOSS went on to take a 13-4 victory.
