FaZe fall to 1-2 pool of Stage 3 as 910 carries The MongolZ to victory
FaZe are one loss away from being eliminated from the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 3 following a 13-7 loss to The MongolZ on December 5th.
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and co. started Stage 3 strong, beating Vitality of all teams, but struggled against both Spirit and The MongolZ in the second and third rounds, respectively.
The best-of-one against The MongolZ was going fine until FaZe had to play on the T-side of Mirage after the first half finished 6-6. They couldn't move past the defense, but most importantly, move past Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch's crosshair.
The Mongolian star hyper carried his team on that CT-side with 17 kills, just three fewer than all his teammates combined.
910's fragging output was so outstanding that he finished that game with a +18.36% Round Swing and 3.12 rating on the CT-side.
FaZe will now have to win back-to-back BO3s to secure a spot in the StarLadder Budapest Major playoffs.
