Liquid and Passion UA draw each other in 0-2 pool of StarLadder Budapest Stage 3

Stage 3 has not gone swimmingly for the two teams with the most NA representation, and to make matters worse they will face each other just to stay alive at StarLadder Budapest.

Liquid and Passion UA will play each other in an elimination best-of-three, with each team seeking to run the gauntlet after an 0-2 start to the third stage. Liquid at the very least have managed to dig themselves out of this position before, rallying from an 0-2 start in Stage 2 with three straight wins to advance.

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski will face off against his former Complexity teammates for the first time since his return to Liquid and for the first time since their move from the North American organization to Passion UA. The last and only times he faced them before was at PGL Bucharest while he was with FaZe and they were still on Complexity; Complexity won the first battle in group stage 2-0, but EliGE and FaZe got the last laugh in the 3rd place match.

Passion UA have already sent a handful of North American players home from Budapest, knocking out M80 in the fifth and final round of Stage 2. Can they do the same against two NA greats?
