
Liquid live to fight another day; StarLadder Budapest Major Stage Two Day Two Recap
Day two of Stage Two of the StarLadder Budapest Major concluded today with Liquid staying alive at the Major with a 2-0 win over MIBR. With the win, the international squad featuring Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Keith "NAF" Markovic stay alive with a 1-2 recording after a disaster start to the Major yesterday. Meanwhile, Passion UA have fallen to a 1-2 record after a 13-3 drubbing to 3DMAX while M80 are one win away from making Stage Three after taking down TYLOO.

The next game of the day was much more positive for NA fans as M80 secured a close 13-10 win over TYLOO on Train. Jadan "HexT"Postma was M80's standout play in the Bo1, with the Canadian posting a 1.31 rating to help overpower a fantastic performance from Qianhao "Moseyuh" Chen.

Moving into the final game of the day for NA fans, Liquid started their Bo3 series against MIBR with a comprehensive victory on Inferno, with ElIGE leading the charge to help Liquid win their CT-side 9-3 before quickly closing out the map 13-5. The second map in the series, Mirage, was far closer as the map ultimately went to double overtime. However, a strong performance from Guy "NertZ" Iluz helped to break the deadlock with 32 kills from the Israeli rifler ultimately helping Liquid win the map 19-17.
