ESL announces qualifier format for Pro Tour 2026
ESL has revealed details for its three events which will feature qualifiers in 2026.
IEM Brazil, IEM Atlanta, and IEM China will have open and closed qualifiers that lead into their respective main events. Each event will have a Global Qualifier, which is held on European servers, and a Regional Qualifier, which will be held in the region where that specific event is taking place.
IEM Brazil's Global Open Qualifier will be held on January 16th and 17th, with the Regional Open Qualifier taking place on the same days on South American servers. Four teams will advance to each Closed Qualifier, which will both begin on January 21st and end on January 23rd.
IEM Atlanta and China will follow that format leading up to either of those events, with the Regional Qualifiers being played on North American and Asian FACEIT servers, respectively.
ESL is also integrating FACEIT verification into their qualifiers to help maintain integrity of play.
