Project Misriah brings Halo 3 to CS2

They have already started to port a couple of maps.

A group of modders have unveiled Project Misriah, a workshop collection of Halo maps, weapons, and sounds that aims to bring a "Halo 3 multiplayer-like experience" to CS2.

Froddoyo, one of the modders behind Project Misriah, said that they will release the maps over the next two weeks, starting with Ghost Town and Homefront.

Project Misriah will have two "styles" of gameplay:

Spartans

  • Maps ported directly from Halo 3

  • Weapons ported from various Halo games with sounds, custom damage tables, no movement penalties, and no aimpunch

  • Character models ported from Halo 3 with armor variants

  • Announcer sounds for objectives and kill awards

  • Regenerating health

  • Slower TTK, because it's Halo

ODST

  • Weapons ported from various Halo games with sounds, custom damage tables

  • Original Counter-Strike objectives and movements

Halo Infinite's final content update went live earlier today. Halo Studios announced earlier this month that they would no longer support Halo Infinite with new content updates as they focus on "multiple [new] Halo titles in development."

Hey, that's the server I am a part of! 2 servers... 1 is halo and the other one is a 64 man server that is a vanilla casual server that plays workshop maps. Average 35-40 most nights if anyone is interested in some old chaotic fun.

That sounds fun, BGS! I'd give it a try, but my ping would be unbearable lol.

It really is. I love competitive CS as much as the next person, but casual CS is what got me hooked on the game way back in the day. Feels like a real community since so many normal faces there and of course having admins makes it nice for little to no toxicity/cheating.

Shame that I have some casual CS friends who don't want to play on it because there are no drops...

Are you from Europe? How is the community servers in your region if so. Ours is lacking so hard.. outside of zombie, DM, and aim maps I think this is the only casual vanilla server in N/A.
