Project Misriah brings Halo 3 to CS2
A group of modders have unveiled Project Misriah, a workshop collection of Halo maps, weapons, and sounds that aims to bring a "Halo 3 multiplayer-like experience" to CS2.
Froddoyo, one of the modders behind Project Misriah, said that they will release the maps over the next two weeks, starting with Ghost Town and Homefront.
Project Misriah will have two "styles" of gameplay:
Spartans
-
Maps ported directly from Halo 3
-
Weapons ported from various Halo games with sounds, custom damage tables, no movement penalties, and no aimpunch
-
Character models ported from Halo 3 with armor variants
-
Announcer sounds for objectives and kill awards
-
Regenerating health
-
Slower TTK, because it's Halo
ODST
-
Weapons ported from various Halo games with sounds, custom damage tables
-
Original Counter-Strike objectives and movements
Halo Infinite's final content update went live earlier today. Halo Studios announced earlier this month that they would no longer support Halo Infinite with new content updates as they focus on "multiple [new] Halo titles in development."
