Generation NSTLGA announces $10K Washington Invitational

Generation NSTLGA released details for their Washington Invitational event, which will boast a $10,000 prize pool.

The tournament will be VRS-enabled and be held in Seattle, Washington from March 18th to March 21st.

The top eight teams in North America, according to the VRS standings, will be invited to the event. Eight more teams will be able to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event will feature three stages. The first will be a qualifier, where the eight teams from open registration will be split into two groups. They will battle in a BO3 double-elimination GSL bracket with four spots in the group stage on the line. The group stage will feature four groups of three teams, with eight teams advancing from the round-robin groups to the single-elimination best-of-three playoffs.

Although the event will be VRS-compliant, it does not guarantee VRS coverage for any of the stages.

Here's how the prize pool will be divvied out:

• 2nd. $2,500

• 3rd & 4th. $1,000 each
