gla1ve just wrapped up his outstanding playing career

Media: 100 Thieves to sign gla1ve as new head coach

He would join rain as the first pieces in 100T's CS puzzle.

Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander is set to join 100 Thieves as their new head coach, according to HLTV. The Danish IGL retired less than two weeks ago after a stellar career as a player, announcing that he would transition into coaching.

gla1ve joins 100 Thieves' first and only player signing thus far, former FaZe rifler Håvard "rain" Nygaard. 100 Thieves hired Graham "messioso" Pitt and Sean "seang@res" Gares head of CS operations and head of FPS, respectively, upon their return to the Valve shooter.

gla1ve is entering coaching after a stellar career as a player, where he was the IGL for arguably the greatest team of all time in Astralis. Their run of dominance lasted from 2018 to 2019, where they won back-to-back-to-back Majors.

100 Thieves were also reportedly in talks to sign a core of players from GamerLegion, which would give them a jumpstart with a group of players that would bring VRS points to the NA organization. GamerLegion's founder and CEO confirmed talks with 100T, but said there are no active discussions about selling GamerLegion's players.
