
huncho steps down from Take Flyte
Last night George "huncho" Carney announced his departure from Take Flyte, stepping down from the roster to focus on life commitments. huncho leave Take Flyte after more than a year with the organization, initially joining the team in October 2024 with the Take Flyte Kings academy squad.
huncho steps down from Take Flyte after a modest year from the lineup, with their most notable result being a top-four finish in ESEA Advanced Season 53. Overall the team have had a busy year, claiming invites to the majority of Ranked competitions, however they have remained quite low in the Valve Regional Standings and are currently ranked 62nd in North America.
Despite the mixed results, huncho has been a consistent element for Take Flyte, maintaining a 0.97 rating over 62 maps this year. With huncho leaving, Take Flyte will look to find a replacement that can boost the firepower a bit in the rifling department.
