Phoenix part ways with REKMEISTER

On November 7th, Alexander "REKMEISTER" Flynn announced his departure from the Phoenix lineup, exiting the orgless squad a month after the team formed around the ex-Chicken Coop core.

During REKMEISTER's brief tenure with the Phoenix tag, the squad's most notable results was a second-place finish in the CCT Season 3 North American Series #2, with the team falling to Getting Info in the finals. Outside of that, results have been relatively mixed, with the team performing decently in domestic competition, beating similarly-leveled teams while struggling to get wins over NA's top squads.

Throughout this period, REKMEISTER maintained a 1.14 rating over 24 maps, making his removal from the squad surprising.

REKMEISTER did not respond to a request for comment ahead of publication.

Phoenix fielded Vladyslav "Valter0k" Pukhtai in the NA Revival Series November today in a 2-0 loss to Voca. It remains to be seen if the Ukrainian will become a permanent addition to Phoenix's ranks.
