Phoenix go official with ex-Chicken Coop core
The ex-Chicken Coop lineup have confirmed to Dust2.us their intentions to stick together and compete under the Phoenix tag while adding Outfit 49 player Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko as a replacement for Sebastian "cbass" Bentancor. The latter player left the lineup in the wake of their dismissal by Chicken Coop in the wake of Caleb "jchancE" Davis' physically and verbally inappropriate behavior during Fragadelphia Fragville — disavowing his former teammates for the incident and an alleged coverup.
The departure from Chicken Coop had seen the team in limbo for sometime, with ex-Chicken Coop competing in multiple events with various stand-ins and under the name of their former organization.

The Phoenix tag was previously used by Gabriel "Gabe" Shah and John "mds" Marin in the wake of their bans from ESL Challenger League Season 48 and subsequent dismissal from Perseverance in 2024.
That team limped along for some time before folding, however this time the squad seems set to try and get back on the horse and parlay their standing in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) to find a new home.
Phoenix are now:
-
Caleb "jchancE" Davis -
Gabriel "Gabe" Shah -
John "mds" Marin -
Alexander "REKMEISTER" Flynn -
Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko
Phoenix will be in action tonight against Wildcard in ESL Challenger League Season Cup 3 at 09:00PM.
