cadiaN has been on the sidelines since April

Media: cadiaN nears move to OG

OG have just benched their IGL and their AWPer.

OG is looking to overhaul its roster with the veteran Danish IGL Casper "cadiaN" Møller, according to a report by our sister website Dust2.dk.

The Danish outlet reported on October 30th that the long-time IGL and AWPer, with a couple of NA stints under his belt, will be joining OG in what they call "a done deal."

This report surfaced around the same time OG announced the benching of Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard and Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi, their IGL and AWPer, respectively. OG removed these players after they failed to qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major.

cadiaN, who competed in North America with both Rogue nearly a decade ago and with Liquid just last year, most recently transitioned to rifling IGL for Astralis before being benched this past April.

With cadiaN at the helm, Astralis failed to qualify for their fifth Major in a row. His individual form also took a massive hit due to his struggles without the AWP.

By all looks of it, a move to OG would allow cadiaN to go back to being an AWPer IGL, and potentially find his best form again. It's currently unclear who OG will choose as their fifth, though.

If cadiaN does sign with OG, the roster will look like this:

  • Sweden Olle "spooke" Grundström

  • Sweden Adam "adamb" Ångström

  • Rafael "arrozdoce" Wing

  • Denmark Casper "cadiaN" Møller

  • Lambert "Lambert" Prigent (Coach)

  • Denmark Christian "Buzz" Andersen (Inactive)

  • Denmark Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard (Inactive)

  • Denmark Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi (Inactive)
