Chicken Coop temporarily ceases operations
North American organization Chicken Coop has temporarily shut down all of their operations as of October 23rd.
The announcement comes little over a month after Chicken Coop had severed ties with its former CS2 team, after Caleb "jchancE" Davis allegedly engaged in physically and verbally inappropriate behavior towards women at a bar in Knoxville, Tennessee.

It's with heavy hearts that we announce Chicken Coop will temporarily cease operations.
This decision wasn't made lightly. Chicken Coop has always been more than just an esports team — it's been a community, a family, and a shared dream built by everyone who believed in us.
To our players, staff, partners, and fans: Thank you for every moment, every cheer, and every bit of support you've given us along the way. Your passion has been the heart of everything we do.
This isn't goodbye — just a pause. We'll be back when the time is right. Until then, keep the Coop spirit alive.
With its previous roster, Chicken Coop notably reached the quarterfinals of Fragadelphia 19 in July, in which they took a map off M80 before being eliminated.
Before the jchancE roster, which was their second try, Chicken Coop entered the scene with the Wanted Goons' lineup from December 2024. But, the organization parted ways with those players in May 2025 after losing their core.
