Wildcard Academy sign Israeli rifler AMSALEM

On the other side of the pond, roster changes have been the norm for Wildcard Academy as well.

On October 17th, Wildcard announced the latest addition to their European academy roster, signing Israeli rifler Meytar "AMSALEM" Amsalem. The former DRILLAS player joins Wildcard Academy as a replacement for Tiago "TMKj" Martins after the Portuguese player was acquired by Rebels for their recently-announced Portuguese lineup.

Outside of DRILLAS, AMSALEM has played for a number of other international lineups in the European tier-three scene including stints with GhoulsW, ESC, NOM, and los kogutos. Prior to AMSALEM's signing, it appears that Wildcard tested out a number of players in officials including Cristi "smekk" Flutur, Jakub "M1key" Krausko, Nolen "noleN" Vida, and Michal "majky" Švancara from across Europe.

It is possible AMSALEM's addition will not be the last change to Wildcard Academy's ranks before the end of the year, as the team have been spotted fielding Ukrainian player Denys "tripex17" Haponov in place of his countryman Vladyslav "leen" Stepanov.

Wildcard Academy currently consists of:

  • Denmark Simon "sSen" Iversen

  • Anton "D0niii" Savienkov

  • Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak

  • Vladyslav "leen" Stepanov

  • Meytar "AMSALEM" Amsalem

  • Łukasz "splawik" Jahns (Coach)
