Stewie2K, Without a Roof earn huge upset win v. M80 mix in Esports Nations Qualifier

Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and co. upset an American stack called STARS AND STRIPES featuring M80 players Michael "Swisher" Schmid, Josh "JBa" Barutt, and Mason "Lake" Sanderson in the Esports Nations Cup USA Qualifier.

The Without a Roof side, featuring three members of the Cloud9 ELEAGUE Boston Major-winning roster, were spurred on by Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who logged a team-high 49 frags.

Cache was WaR's pick, and they came all the way back from 9-3 down at halftime to secure the 13-10 win.

STARS AND STRIPES were utterly dominant on Inferno, surrendering just two rounds in the map to force a third and decisive clash on Mirage.

On Mirage, it was Without a Roof's turn to take a 9-3 halftime lead. Like their opponents in the first half, they had a much shakier second half. However, thanks to a 1v2 clutch from Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham, WaR held on for the 13-11 victory and sent STARS AND STRIPES packing.
