Wildcard Academy replaces promoted Polish AWPer with former TALON player
Wildcard Academy has acquired 23-year-old Polish AWPer Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, the organization announced on July 27th.
mhL, who's played for TALON, Endpoint, MOUZ NXT, and even Falcons before their superteam era, joins the European roster still in construction mode. He takes the AWPer role from Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz, who was promoted to Wildcard's main roster after spending the first half of 2025 on WC Academy.
Wildcard Academy is still seeking an active replacement for teenage Swedish rifler Leo "Wonder" Wänlund, who's brief tenure with the team ended before the start of July. Since then the team have been spotted fielding Cristi "smekk" Flutur, Vladyslav "leen" Stepanov, and David "Brillo" Lehrman as stand-ins.
Under the tenure of Łukasz "splawik" Jahns, who was brought on first at the start of 2025 to lead the project, WIldcard Academy is averaging nearly an exact .500 win rate, with 36 map wins and 37 losses to their name. Only Portuguese young talent Tiago "TMKj" Martins and former Astralis Talent player Simon "sSen" Iversen have remained since the beginning.
The current Wildcard Academy lineup currently consists of:
-
Tiago "TMKj" Martins -
Simon "sSen" Iversen -
