CS2 July 28th Update map changes
On Inferno, the biggest changes are to Coffins, Church, and the A site balcony.
The pathway from Church to Coffins has been widened, and there are now open Church windows through which players can throw flashes, smokes, and molotovs. The boxes that hang over the B site have been adjusted too, letting T-side players jump up them.
Over on the A site, the balcony railing has been "repaired," which will drastically slow down quick A pops through Apartments.
On Train, Ivy cover has been adjusted, as his cover on A site by Hell train via new barrels and boxes that can be climbed. Box cover has also been added to Upper B Halls, the section of B site near the Z connector, and on the CT-side of the raised platform on B.
On Overpass, the changes are a bit less substantial, but the angle of Truck on A site has been adjusted, as has the railing on Heaven.
CS2 July 28th Update animation changes
The changes in the latest update that have attracted the most attention from the community have been the animation changes to weapon equipping, reloading, and inspecting. This is a result of the ongoing upgrade to AnimGraph2, which requires reauthoring existing game content. All first-person animations have been replaced as a result.
The thread from Thour below features a number of significant animation changes to the AK-47, the Desert Eagle, and the M4A4.
Animations for every weapon, including knives, have been changed. A number of audio changes have also been made to the firing and reload sounds.
