friberg remains open to coaching roles in 2026

The Swede boasts 20 years of experience in CS

Adam "friberg" Friberg has announced on X that he is still interested in finding a coaching role in the CS scene. friberg highlighted that he has always been a vocal player & IGL in his teams.

friberg has been streaming consistently for the past year, often queueing FACEIT pugs with fellow Swedish legends like Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Olof "Olofmeister" Kajbjer.

friberg's illustrious career included five appearances in Major grand finals, with the Swede taking home the world championship at ESL One Cologne 2014 with Ninjas in Pyjamas. Friberg was a key part of the first dominant team in CS:GO, as Ninjas in Pyjamas went on an 87-map win streak in the game's infancy. It was at this time that friberg was crowned the "King of Banana" on Inferno.

friberg has confidence that he knows what it takes to guide a roster to victory, saying:

"Winning almost everything in CS, I also have the winner mentality, which is something you need throughout your roster"

The Swede retired from competitive play in 2024, which is when he first announced his interest in transitioning to a coaching role.
