Breaking: Marsborne unveil Cxzi as new IGL as motm moves to the bench

Marsborne have officially announced Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk as the newest addition to their lineup following the team's victory in the NA Revival Series September this weekend. Cxzi joins Marsborne in place of Ian "motm" Hardy, who has been moved to the bench, and will be taking over IGL duties from Swedish-American AWPer Adam "WolfY" Andersson.

The addition of Cxzi sees the long-time NA soldier find a new home after being the sole Complexity player passed over for acquisition by Ukrainian organization Passion UA when they acquired COL's lineup on August 19th.

Cxzi's signing by Marsborne will see him take up the IGL mantle for the first time in his lengthy career after playing under the likes of Johnny "JT" Theodosiou, Ben "ben1337" Smith, Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, and David "cynic" Polster, among others, during his time in the NA scene.

The addition of Cxzi comes as Marsborne have an outside chance of qualifying to the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage One, with the team currently trailing ODDIK by a mere 37 points. With the addition of Cxzi the team will likely hope for a firepower upgrade and some fresh ideas after struggling to take down top NA teams like SkinRave and M80.

Like many teams, Marsborne's chances of making the Major will rest on the team performing well at the upcoming Fragadelphia Blocktober event, which is set to start on October 2nd.
