Aether part ways with clipzera and arias
On September 8th, Aether announced the departures of Aidan "clipzera" Swark and Caden "arias" Allison from the team's ranks, seeing the duo formally exit the lineup after last playing for the team at the start of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 on August 17th. With arias and clipzera leaving the lineup, Aether have added Christian "Sathsea" Birkelbach on trial while looking for an additional player to round out the roster.
The changes in Aether's ranks come amidst a relatively messy time for the lineup with multiple roster changes, stand-ins, and trials resulting in the team losing the majority of their VRS points in recent months. With this, the remaining players sit in 74th on the Americas VRS and will essentially need to rebuild from scratch.
To that end, Aether were spotted fielding Mongolian duo Bishrel "N2o" Tamir and Ochirbileg "obi" Shinebaatar in the Dust2.us Eagle Master Series #3, however that failed to materialize into a long-term signing.
Sathsea joins Aether after spending the majority of the year with Zomblers, notably attending Fragadelphia 19 with the squad.
Aether are now:
-
Jack "micro" Ryan -
Andrew "Tender" Cote -
John "juna" Rogel -
Christian "Sathsea" Birkelbach (Trial) -
Chris "Jeebs" DeSantis (Coach) -
Connor "flow" McCarthy (Inactive)
Aether are currently competing in the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup #2 and will face FULL SEND tonight in the lower bracket with Mike "misha" Yelnikov acting as the team's fifth.
