M80's BLAST run provides massive boost to NA teams chasing the Major

M80's impressive run at the online stage of BLAST Open Fall London did them a huge favor in terms of qualifying for the next Major, but it also evidently helped the entire region.

According to familiar Major predictions model maker Finn "Mischief" Farrer's latest simulator, M80 now joins FURIA, paiN, and Legacy in the category of teams with a greater than 99.99% chance of making the Major, figuratively guaranteeing their spot at StarLadder Budapest.

But that's not all. M80's impressive form has also raised the stock of the North American region and increased the odds of fellow NA teams, in particular NRG. NRG's forfeit win at ECL S50 over an M80 team that has shot up the global VRS rankings could be huge in helping them reach the Major.

NRG's odds, compared to last week's, have shot up from 65.89% to 83.93%. While they're still not in a qualifying position, former BLUEJAYS now SkinRave have also seen a jump in odds, from 3.66% up to 30.85%, thanks to their own win by forfeit against M80 and a first place finish at Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 powered by INUI.

While still heavily favored to make the Major, Passion UA (former Complexity) took a slight dip down to 92.93% odds, after a quick exit from DraculaN.
