
Despite impressive JT performance, Passion UA fall to 9INE; exit DraculaN winless
9INE have ended Passion UA's run at DraculaN after the NA team's second match.
Passion UA's first tournament with their new roster ended with a 0-2 match record and a 0-4 map count. Passion are currently ranked sixth in the Americas in VRS.

9INE elected to start the series on Ancient, and showed a solid T side to take control early. They went up 5-0 early before conceding four rounds in a row. 9INE stablilized, though, holding onto an 8-4 lead at halftime. Passion UA started with four rounds in a row to even the score at 8-8 in the second half. 9INE bounced back once again, conceding only one round in the rest of the map to win 13-9 and take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Passion UA looked to even up the scores on Overpass, but fell flat. After losing the pistol round, 9INE won ten of the next eleven rounds to take a dominant 10-2 lead after the first half. Passion brought the score back to 11-6, but with so little room for error it was too little to late. 9INE closed out the map and series with a 13-8 win on Overpass.
Tobias "kraghen" Kragh Jensen topped the leaderboard for 9INE with 34 frags and a 1.22 rating, with only Passion UA IGL Johnny "JT' Thedosiou performing better in his side's losing effort. JT dropped a match-high 36 frags with 95 ADR and an impressive 1.3 rating.
9INE will face ENCE in their next lower bracket match.
