New community server browser aims to fix major issue with Counter-Strike 2
A new website for finding community-made servers in Counter-Strike 2 has just dropped. On Reddit, u/blu133721 made a post announcing the arrival of a new fan-made project to replace the in-game server browser, providing an easier way for players to find community servers.
The creation of a fan-made community server browser comes as Valve's official CS2 server browser has continued to be a major pain point in the game, with a clunky UI, spam listings, and numerous server mirrors making the official browser all but useless.
The site's goal is to "query all available servers directly and filter out the fake mirrors, so you only see real servers with real players." The creators of the community server browser are seeking feedback and suggestions for future features to add and have already addressed a number of complaints in the Reddit thread.
The website can be found here.
