Mauisnake: "If donk were to retire today, he would be the greatest rifler of all time"

On the latest episode of the podcast "Hot Take Point Made", Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg had this to say about Danil "donk" Kryshkovets:

If donk were to retire today, he would be the greatest rifler of all time.

On the podcast with Duncan "Thorin" Shields and Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović, Mauisnake said that donk's peak has already surpassed that of Nikola "NiKo" Kovač.

Ellenberg also pointed out that if you swapped out donk with almost any other star player, Spirit would not have enjoyed nearly the same amount of success as they have since adding the young Russian. Since joining Spirit from Spirit Academy in July 2023, donk has won seven tournaments — including one Major, earned the HLTV MVP award at nine tournaments — including that Major, and was ranked as the HLTV's #1 player in 2024.

Despite being only 18 years of age, donk has already claimed achievements to rival many of the game's greatest riflers.
