
The Americas will have ten spots in the StarLadder Budapest Major per update by Valve
Somewhat unceremoniously Valve have released the updated regional assignments for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major today, revealing the allocation of Stage One slots to each region. After much speculation about how many Stage One spots would go to each region, Valve have elected to leave the allocation entirely unchanged, with Europe receiving six slot while the Americas and Asia reach received four slots.
Overall, this mean the combined Americas region send ten teams to the StarLadder Bupdapest Major — one less than the BLAST.tv Austin Major. The Americas region conceded one Stage Two spot to the Asia region after the standout performances of Lynn Vision, TYLOO, and The MongolZ in Austin combined with the poor performance of NA teams at the home Major.
