NVS steps down from Fragadelphia

Ed wants to stay in the esports industry and is open to offers.

Edward "NVS" Nieves, also known simply as Ed, has departed Fragadelphia's volunteer staff, both parties announced on July 30th. He was a core member of FRAG's staff, having served as head admin, head tech specialist, among other roles, over the past ten years.

During his time with Fragadelphia, NVS helped to organize numerous events and ensured that they ran as smoothly as possible.

NVS left FRAG in 2022, when he departed Nerd Street Gamers, and returned after FRAG and NSG parted ways in 2023.

Fragadelphia released a heartwarming statement to announce NVS's departure, which can be read below:

Over the years, Ed has been a valuable part of our mission to not only grow as an organization, but also as a pillar of the North American Counter-Strike competitive scene and community.

While his presence will be greatly missed, his responsibilities will be absorbed by our other dedicated staff members and we should be able to maintain the same tournament quality while continuing to make improvements.

We're incredibly grateful for everything Ed has done for us, and are all extremely happy to have had the experience of working with him. Everyone here at Frag wishes him the best in his new pursuits.

It's currently unclear what NVS will do next, but he's open to offers and wants to stay in esports.

"I have been a part of FRAG for 10+ years, and as growth happens, sometimes change needs to take place," NVS wrote on X.

"For me, that change was something I didn't think could further my career in esports. So I wanted to explore and tackle new projects, not just within CS but with all of esports. [...]That's not to say that I could return to FRAG at a later time, but I feel this is the best course for me, and I'm hungry to learn. With that being said, I am officially open to any projects or careers that might need my services."

Numerous teams, players, and talent members wished NVS good luck in his next endeavours, and so does the Dust2.us team.
