YouTube terminates legitimate Falcons YouTube account instead of stopping scam ads: "You can’t make this shit up"
Yesterday Dust2.us reported on the fact that scam advertisements on YouTube featuring Saudi organization Falcons and AI versions of superstar player Nikola "NiKo" Kovač were still present on the platform nearly two weeks after first being reported to the company.
This is despite multiple big names including NiKo himself speaking out about the ads along with renewed attention after the ads were spotted on official Major broadcasts.
Now, in the latest absurd twist in the tale, it appears YouTube has taken down Falcons' legitimate YouTube account in a botched attempt to stop the scam ads, with an AI or clueless support tech seemingly confusing the legitimate brand for the scam account.
Erik "fl0m" Flom was the first person to spot this massive blunder, posting at 12:00PM about the issue while Falcons' page is still down at the time of publication.

This is another embarrassing blunder for YouTube in the whole saga and comes as the platform have been rife with fake streams featuring top professional players for years.
