Sonic was not subtle in his post-match interview

Sonic responds to Peeping report: "It just feels like sometimes you're being lied to as a player"

Sonic's frustrated comments make it sound like Peeping is on the way to Wildcard.

Wildcard were eliminated today from the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage One following a frustrating and disappointing loss to Legacy. Following this defeat, HLTV's Harry "NER0" Richards spoke to Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek in what became an emotionally charged interview where he lashed out at the team's performance, stating the team weren't communicating, playing like a team, and were clashing with each other.

However, Sonic's final comment to NER0 proved the most interesting as he asked about Dust2.us' reporting that Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell is set to join Wildcard — potentially in place of Sonic.

Sonic told HLTV that esports is an unpredictable environment where it feels like players are sometimes lied to about changes in the team, with this creating an environment of paranoia where you "don't know who to trust".

Sonic's complete comment on the Peeping rumors reads:

To be honest, this is esports. Esports is very unpredictable. I felt like we had an amazing team and we had really amazing moments and stuff. It just feels like sometimes you're being lied to as a player.

It affects everyone on the team, you don't know who to trust, you don't know if you can trust the people around you who say you can trust them. It's murky waters and it's very annoying. And it shouldn't happen in esports. It's plain wrong. We'll see what happens. There's a bunch of different things happening. No-one quite knows.

With Sonic seemingly hinting that something is going on within Wildcard's ranks we will need to keep an eye on the situation with the team now heading into the Summer player break after being eliminated from the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
