ESL drops matchups for IEM Dallas day one

ESL just posted the first round of group stage matches for IEM Dallas, with accommodations made for the two teams that qualified for the semifinal at PGL Astana.

Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev will make his return to action with FaZe against Liquid. It will have been six months to the day since s1mple was last in an official match, when he and Falcons were eliminated from the PGL Shanghai Major. The Ukrainian will reunite with ex-Liquid teammate Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski to take on their former employers.

Alongside Liquid, NRG will be the other name representing North America at the event. They will start their journey in Dallas v. Falcons, who most recently were toppled in the BLAST Rivals Season 1 Final by Vitality.

Speaking of Vitality, they will be keen to continue their historic 25-match win streak against Legacy in their opening game.
