Media: Falcons to sign kyousuke to replace Magisk

This is just getting unfair.

The rich get richer as Falcons is reportedly close to finalizing a move that would land them current Spirit Academy player and and rising star Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin.

The move was first reported by Alejandro "Anonimotum" Gomis of Sheep Esports, and corroborated by Guillaume "neL" Rathier, with both sources claiming that the move won't be made official until after the completion of the BLAST.tv Austin Major. The 17-year-old Russian rifler has been touted as one of the most sought after prospects in Counter-Strike 2 as of late.

Earlier in April, Dust2.dk reported that Falcons had set their sights on kyousuke with the intention of replacing René "TeSeS" Madsen, though neL reports today that four-time Major winner Emil "Magisk" Reif would be the one replaced.

Falcons' most recent acquisition, AWPer superstar Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov has partly denied the reported move, questioning who "Sheep Esports" are in a post on Telegram. Sheep Esports are known for their overall accuracy in reporting however, and the kyousuke move has also been reported on now by neL.

If the move is confirmed, here is what Falcons' roster will look like after the Austin Major:

  • Nikola "NiKo" Kovač

  • Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski

  • Denmark René "TeSeS" Madsen

  • Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov

  • Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin

  • Denmark Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)

  • Abdul "degster" Gasanov (Inactive)

  • Denmark Emil "Magisk" Reif (Inactive)
