Villainous enter CS:GO with ex-UYU

The new-look organization has signed an experienced squad of Advanced players.

Villainous, a recently rebranded American esports organization, have entered CS:GO with the signing of ex-UYU. ex-UYU recently completed their rebuild with the additions of Cory "shutout" Frymark and Jake "zebra" Davis at the end of June. The team have also added Thomas "klank" Mennemeyer as coach.

This new Villainous organization is unrelated to the old organization that previously hosted teams in ESEA Advanced. However, this new organization got the blessing of the old owners of Villainous despite their choice of name being a coincidence.

klank previously worked as the assistant coach/analyst of Strife before stepping down from the role and into a short-lived retirement due to a busy schedule. He will look to help Villainous return to ESL Challenger League after being demoted following a poor 0-7 regular season record in ECL Season 41.

Villainous consists of:

  • Matthew "tatm" Munro

  • Alvin "Alvin" Bui

  • Kevin "omniscient" Ma

  • United States Cory "shutout" Frymark

  • United States Jake "zebra" Davis

  • United States Thomas "klank" Mennemeyer (Coach)

Villainous recently finished the X13 Summer Cup in third place over Sacrifice. They await the start of ESEA Advanced Season 42 in August.
