lol yeah win NSG Academy February Showcase
The D.C. Area Esports February Showcase, newly supported by N3rd Street Gamers, took place yesterday.
The event saw a handful of mix teams attend, first fighting it out in a round-robin group stage, and then a double-elimination playoff bracket.
The grand final saw team's featuring Tom "tconnors" Connors and Shawn "witmer" Taylor facing off. By virtue of coming from the upper bracket, lol yeah had a one map advantage. Said map advantage came in handy, as the x1 Mob were able to take the first map of the set, but tconnors' men regrouped to take Inferno and the top spot.
The top three of the NSG Academy February Showcase are as follows:
