NSG Academy LAN in D.C. announced with $1,000+ on offer

N3rd Street Gamers continues their 2018 NSG Eastern Conference Championship series with NSG Academy LAN.

It was announced a few days ago via Twitter that N3rd Street Gamers have chosen to sponsor the upcoming February 2018 CS:GO Showcase as the second stop in their five part NSG Eastern Conference Championship series.

The tournament will take place February 24th at the RISE Demonstration Center in Washington, DC and is a BYOC LAN, though a limited amount of computers will be available to rent. Their support of the event has added an additional $1,000 to the total prize pool, which is still undetermined as they continue to seek further financial backing and is dependant on how many teams register.

Registration for the NSG Academy LAN has already begun and almost a dozen teams have already signed up to compete. For additional information, including links to register and tournament rules, you can visit their event page.

Notable players/personalities currently set to attend the event include Iceberg's Tom "tconnors" Connors, Jasper "sfX" Ko, and HLTV memer in absentia Michal "stich" Malachowski.

In addition to the event next weekend, N3rd Street Gamers will also host another NSG Academy LAN in Philadelphia on April 14th.
