Esports World Cup dates revealed

Two NA teams will be headed to Riyadh in July.

After a fairly lengthy detail for more details to drop about the Saudi event, the Esports World Cup have revealed their roadmap for their $60 million multi-title esports competition set to take place in Riyadh this summer. The competition is set to run from July 3rd all the way to August 25th, with the Counter-Strike 2 event set to run in the middle of the month from July 17th to July 21st.

The four day event features 15 teams from around the world, with Complexity and M80 comprising the NA representation in Riyadh. The 15 teams will compete in the fairly unusual format, with eight teams ultimately earning spots in the playoffs. There, teams will fight to take home the lion's share of the $1 million prize earmarked for Counter-Strike 2.
