nicx: "This is my worst season by far"

Passion UA faced elimination from IEM Atlanta 2026 last night following a loss to SINNERS. The early exit from Atlanta is the latest disappointment for Passion UA and Nicholas "nicx" Lee after a season filled with adversity and missed opportunities. Following this loss, nicx spoke to Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore about PUA's poor season, his feelings on his performance this season, and what comes next for the international squad.

Another heartbreaking loss to exit the event. We saw some signs of life from the team but ultimately it wasn't enough to win the day against SINNERS. How are you feeling about that series and what do you think went wrong?

A lot went wrong today. We haven't played Overpass with this five yet so there's that, but I don't know... everything went wrong.

Despite a poor season, how do you feel you have performed this season?

This is my worst season by far. On Complexity and the first season with Passion UA I was playing much better. Some of that is due to role changes and roster moves but at the end of the day its still my performance. I need to be playing better and I'm definitely under-performing to where I have been and where I can be.

With the season effectively over for Passion UA, do you know what the plan is from here? Do you think you just need to practice, practice, practice or what comes next?

I'm not completely sure what the roster is going to be, so I don't know that. But after this we have one more Open LAN and then we're going to take a small break and figure out the roster stuff and get back to practicing?

We've spoken a lot about the adversity and difficulties that you have gone through this season. Do you think its made you a stronger person and player?

Yes? You can only lose for so long before something's got to give. We faced a similar situation at the beginning of Complexity where we lost everything and we're in that kind of situation right now. Our ranking has fallen a lot so it can kind of only go up from here I feel like.
