Media: Luminosity in negotiations with lux

Luminosity have been speaking with Lucas "⁠lux⁠" Meneghini, according to a report from Dust2.com.br.

Dust2BR understands that talks between North American organization and lux are "well underway", who was benched on Legacy in February.

lux played for Legacy from January 2025 until his February 2026 benching. In that time, he represented the Brazilian org at both Majors in 2025 and posted a 1.03 rating in 249 maps played.

Luminosity's CEO and founder, Steve "Buyaka" Maida, commented on the report, confirming that he "asked about lux" in a conversation with Legacy founder and CEO Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia.

Buyaka said that he was catching up with dead to get re-acclimated with the CS scene, since he has been out of touch with it since 2021. Buyaka further commented on X, saying, "I want LG back in CS more than anyone. Right now it’s just talking. We have talked about BR, NA, EU, mixed lineups and players."

Maida reacquired Luminosity in January from Vertiqal Studios, but he hasn't dived into any big moves with the org as of yet.
