EliGE on qualifying to Cologne: "It wasn't really even our accomplishment"

In a post-match interview for HLTV, Liquid's Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski shared his thoughts on the team's qualification to IEM Cologne. Their path to the Major has been a controversial one, seeing the organization acquire Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa in order to secure an Americas invite, only to narrowly scrape by thanks to the poor play of teams like Passion UA.

EliGE expressed, "I feel like we haven't improved since malbsMd joined too much," adding, "I don't think it's something specific of him doing or not doing. He could be playing insane, but us as a team, we're not playing well." Since the roster change, Liquid have gone 3-6 across nine matches, a cause for concern as the Major draws closer.

Regarding Liquid's qualification, EliGE admits, "It's not like it's something that we necessarily earned ourselves."
