ESL Challenger League S51 Cup 3 Day 4 recap: F5 and regain reach upper bracket final
Last night was the fourth day of ESL Challenger League S51 Cup 3, and four matches were played. In the upper bracket, F5 beat InControl and regain bested Zomblers to claim spots in the upper bracket final. In the lower bracket, FarmVille knocked out CLUB 333 while LAG eliminated Surge.
InControl 0-2 F5
The series began on F5's Overpass pick. After winning the pistol, F5 went on an impressive 6-0 T-side run before InControl finally got a round. Entering their CT-side with a strong 9-3 lead, a second pistol win propelled F5 to take their pick 13-5.
InControl picked Inferno and took the pistol. However, F5 were in control for the rest of the half, taking another 9-3 lead. After taking the second pistol and conversions, InControl could only put off the inevitable before F5 won 13-7.

Zomblers 1-2 regain
regain opted to start the series on Inferno. After a slow start, regain eventually found solid form on their T-side to take a slight 7-5 lead. The second pistol power regain to a flawless CT-side, giving them a 13-5 victory.
Zomblers picked Dust2, but started down 0-4. After dominating the rest of the half, they took a 7-5 lead. regain once again started strong, but Zomblers responded with enough rounds to secure overtime. What ensued was pure chaos with both teams flubbing chances to take the map over four overtimes. After nearly 50 rounds, Zomblers took the win 25-21.
Despite losing the pistol and conversion, regain steamrolled the rest of their T-side, taking a 9-3 lead. They lost the second pistol as well, but quickly responded to close the map 13-4.
