ESL Challenger League S51 Cup 3 Day 3 recap: LAG take down BOSS to stay alive
Day three of ESL Challenger League S51 Cup 3 has reached its conclusion, and four more teams have been eliminated. Though one match was a forfeit, thankfully, the other three played out as normal. Only eight teams are left in contention for the NA Finals spot.
BOSS 1-2 LAG
The series began on BOSS's pick of Dust2. Though they took the pistol, BOSS struggled the string rounds together on their T-side, ending the half down 4-8. After losing the second pistol, BOSS turned it around and mounted a comeback to take their pick 13-10.
LAG picked Inferno, and once again held control through the first half to get another 8-4 lead. They went flawless in the second half to take their pick 13-4.
Ancient was the decider, and LAG continued the momentum they built from map two. A dominant 10-2 CT-side completely shut BOSS down before a quick T-side secured the map 13-2.

Reign Above 0-2 FarmVille
Reign Above opted to start the match on Anubis and got off to a hot start before FarmVille picked up the last three rounds of the half to close the gap. Entering their T-side down 5-7, FarmVille went on a six-round run before Reign Above finally got a round. However, it was too late as FarmVille took the map 13-9.
FarmVille picked Dust2 and once again started slowly, going down 1-4. They recovered faster than map one, and got seven rounds in a row to take an 8-4 lead. After winning the pistol and conversion, FarmVille managed to close the map 13-7, taking the series.
