M80 quell Alliance, advance to DraculaN finals
With a 2-1 reverse sweep, Major-bound M80 have put an end to Alliance’s run at DraculaN. The North American squad will face Monte, who bested them in the Upper Bracket finals, for a second and final time.
Alliance's map pick of Anubis was the closest of the three maps, resulting in a 7-5 halftime score favoring the Swedes. The second half was equally as contested, ending in a 13-11 Alliance victory.
Despite a close first map, M80 were unquestionably dominant on Inferno, going 11-1 on their attacking side. Each of M80's players finished the map with stellar ratings, while Alliance's half of the stat sheet showed all red.
M80's momentum carried into Overpass, with a 9-3 half guaranteeing their 13-5 victory. Mason "Lake" Sanderson finished the series with 53 frags and a 1.55 rating.

According to the most recent VRS predictions, M80 sit at a comfortable 99% of qualifying to IEM Cologne. This certainly won't limit their ambitions in the DraculaN Grand Final today.
