M80 fall to Monte in DraculaN Season 6 Upper Bracket Finals showdown

Earlier today M80 fell to Monte in the Upper Bracket Finals of DraculaN Season 6, marking the end of the NA hopeful's upper bracket run while seeing Monte advance to the grand finals.

Against the top 15 team M80 were unfortunately unable to put on a competitive showing, with the series starting off in a rough fashion as Monte claimed an 11-0 start on Ancient via a near-perfect CT-side before M80 finally grabbed a single round in the first half. This massive lead set the stage for Monte to lock down the map 13-4 without relatively little trouble despite a second-half effort by M80 to put some rounds on the board.

Moving onto Dust2, things were admittedly not much better for M80 as despite leading 3-2 early in the half they were unable to hold out against a strong T-side effort from Monte, which set the stage for the European squad to take the half 8-4 on their T-side. After switching sides, M80 finally showed off a convincing run of rounds, winning five in a row to take the lead for the second time in the series. Unfortunately this comeback was short-lived as Monte stabilized quickly on their CT-side as Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov led the charge for Monte to win 5 of the next six rounds to lock down Dust 13-10.
