EMPIRE claim final spot in Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7

The team build on their recent success in ESEA Advanced.

Last night, EMPIRE completely dominated Reunion in the grand final of Open Qualifier #4 to secure the last spot in Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7. Despite a close first series of the night, EMPIRE's run was relatively unobstructed as they won the rest of their series cleanly.

Getting a bye through the first round, EMPIRE faced Beyond Limits in their opener. The match ended up being one of the most competitive of the night as the map went to overtime. Once there, EMPIRE won four in a row to take the win, 16-12.

Their next two matches were much less competitive. They won 13-6 against raisedbypixels in the quarterfinals, then took down Full House 13-5 in the semis.

The final was against Reunion, and it started on Inferno. The map was a slaughter as EMPIRE won 13-0. Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes ended with an insane 20-3 K/D, but arguably crazier was Cole "twigs" Morad, who ended 12-0.

The second map of Nuke was slightly closer, but EMPIRE still took home a comfortable 13-4 win to end the series 2-0.

EMPIRE are:

  • United States Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes

  • Nicolas "C0C0" Nassoura

  • United States Cole "twigs" Morad

  • Canada Kaan "BAGEL" Demircan

  • United States Cristian "no1nx" Labrada

  • Canada "Nexity"

Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7 will begin on March 30th.
