PGL Astana NA qualifiers go live

The PGL Astana NA qualifiers are set to begin soon, with Opens #1 and #2 taking place March 22nd-23rd and March 24th-25th, respectively. The top two teams from each will advance to the closed qualifier, tentatively scheduled between March 31st and April 3rd, and the winner of that will go to the main event in May.

While closed qualifier invites have not been released yet, the main event will include Top 15 teams such as FURIA, Spirit, and MongolZ. North American team NRG were also invited, but declined in favor of attending IEM Atlanta.

Last year’s closed qualifier saw M80 advance to the main event, where they suffered a 0-3 group stage and early exit.
