Voca eliminated from Roman Imperium Cup VI by NIP, placing Major dreams in peril
Voca have been eliminated from Roman Imperium Cup VI at the hands of NIP, ending the event with a 2-2 record following a win over SAW, a forfeit win against Iedopieca, and losses to EYEBALLERS and NIP.
The result sees Voca fall short in their goal of replicating their strong performance at Parken Challenger Championship #2 last week, which saw the NA squad claim a fourth-place finish after claiming a number of upsets against European teams.
Voca's day at Roman Imperium Cup VI started with a confident win over SAW's relatively new lineup, with the team claiming a quick and easy 13-6 win on Mirage while Gage "Infinite" Green led the charge with 18 kills.

Their next match against EYEBALLERS started with Voca claiming an early 6-3 lead on their CT-side before EYEBALLERS closed the gap considerably to end the half trailing 5-7. After switching sides, Voca came within striking distance of claiming the upset over Jesper "JW" Wecksell and co. as they find double digits first at a 10-7 scoreline. Unfortunately, the game completely slipped away from Voca after round 17 as EYEBALLERS rallied around Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson to win the next six rounds and take the map 13-10.

The loss against EYEBALLERS set Voca on a collision course with NIP as both teams needed to win their final group stage match to make playoffs. With the veto heading to Dust2, Voca spent the majority of their CT-side trailing NIP before ending the first half trailing by a respectable two rounds. Unfortunately for Voca, after a day of competitive maps they completely collapsed at the worst moment as NIP were able to post a near-perfect CT-side to win Dust2 13-5 to knock Voca out of the LAN.
