nosraC and Voca have a lot to be proud of after a deep run in Denmark

Voca finish Parken Challenger Championship #2 in fourth place after close loss to AM

A great event overall for Voca.

Voca have been eliminated from Parken Challenger Championship #2 after a deep run in playoffs, seeing the team make it all the way to the lower bracket semifinals before being felled by AM in a close 2-1 loss.

After the team's impressive 4-1 run in the group stage yesterday, Voca started playoffs with a close 2-0 loss to Johnny Speeds in the upper bracket, sending the team down into the lower bracket to face off against the newly-minted FOKUS roster.

The series versus FOKUS saw the newly-minted team start with the lead in the series after a close 16-12 win on Ancient before Voca answered back with a 13-8 on Mirage. With the series tied up, Voca were able to push past FOKUS with a 13-10 win on Dust2 thanks in no small part to the 39 combined kills Paytyn "junior" Johnson and Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott posted on the map.

Voca's next matchup was a surprisingly close series against Danish subtop team MASONIC, which began with Voca once again trailing in the series as MASONIC claimed Overpass 13-8. Voca quickly responded with a 13-6 win on their map pick of Mirage before cleaning the series up with a 13-4 win on Nuke.

The win over MASONIC set Voca up for a confrontation with AM fresh off of their 2-0 win over 100 Thieves. With 100T's poor performance in mind, Voca gave a strong appraisal in the series despite starting it by conceding Dust 13-11, as they once again proved how dangerous they are on Mirage by winning the map easily 13-5.

With that win in hand, Voca went into Ancient looking confident as they won the first three rounds of the map on their T-side before completely unraveling and allowing AM to win the next nine rounds. With a serious deficit heading into the second half, Voca won the second pistol round before AM immediately responded with three rounds to climb up to match point. With their back against the wall, Voca were fortunately able to avoid a complete blowout as they won three more rounds before AM broke through to win the map 13-7.
