Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 6 Day #15 recap: LAG take down Aether

LAG left no room for a map three.

The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series saw its last Quarterfinal play out yesterday, with LAG taking a 2-0 victory over Aether to secure a Semifinals appearance against Wildcard, who won their match after Blitzkrieg forfeited.

LAG started their run against Aether on the CT side of Inferno, winning the pistol and gaining a small 7-5 lead by halftime. On the T side, LAG would again take the pistol. While Aether rebutted with a couple of back-to-back rounds, LAG would remain consistent to win the map 13-9.

Aether looked to rebound on their map pick of Mirage, but they were no match for LAG's CT side this time, led by a 16-4 and 2.08-rated Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield. Aether would take the second pistol, but LAG's 10-2 lead became insurmountable as they quickly closed the game with three straight buy rounds.
