The Canadian rifler experienced a multitude of tech issues at IEM Krakow 2026

Twistzz after tech issues forced him to play without config in IEM Krakow 2026 opener: "I felt like I had a series sabotaged"

Twistzz's PC issues delayed their first series of Stage 2 by 40 minutes.

FaZe had a rough go at IEM Krakow 2026, as evidenced by Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's technical issues in their first match of the event against 3DMAX.

In FaZe's post-event vlog, Twistzz said that he was "full tilt" during the match against their French opponents, feeling "like I had a series sabotaged" by his tech issues.

The tournament admins claimed that the issues were caused by Twistzz's settings, leaving the Canadian to play without his config for the first map. The tech problems came back during that map, however, and Twistzz stated that his settings worked fine on the PC he used in the practice room.

Twistzz said that he felt pressured to resume the game despite claiming that it was the tournament hardware that malfunctioned.

FaZe went on to lose the series 2-0 to 3DMAX, falling to the lower bracket. They defeated BC.Game before being eliminated at the hands of MOUZ to end their run in Krakow with a 9th-12th finish.

FaZe are currently 1-1 at PGL Cluj-Napoca, having beaten HEROIC in their opening match and falling to Falcons in the 1-0 pool. They will now face PARIVISION in a 1-1 match tomorrow at 03:00AM.
