Reign Above part ways with colin and ryn

The move comes less than two weeks after ryn's addition.

Earlier today, Reign Above announced the departure of Colin Chan, a founding member of the five-month-old roster. Matthew "swayu" Norton later added that the team is looking for a replacement for Ryan "ryn" Crossland as well.

The changes come less than two weeks after Reign Above replaced Troy "SayYouWill" Muehlhausen with ryn after an opening loss to LAG in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #6. Though the team went on to get a win over FlyQuest RED, they would lose their next two matches and end the tournament in 12th-14th place.

When asked for comment, swayu informed Dust2.us that colin is not moving forward with the roster because he "got an offer from another team that he couldn't refuse." The IGL's new team will reportedly be announced tomorrow. He added that ryn was removed because he "didn't fit into the team system that we want to build without colin."

Reign Above has no immediate replacements lined up and is now looking for two new players to complete the roster. The team's next matches are scheduled for February 18th and 19th for ESEA Advanced.

Reign Above are now:

  • United States Matthew "swayu" Norton

  • United States Adam "SeRCEra" Zielinski

  • United States Jacob "cobalt" Elkins
