Valve kicks BC.Game from BC Game Masters

On February 11th, BC Game Masters made a post announcing that “BCGameEsports will not participate in this event.” According to an article by HLTV, it was Valve that enforced the ruling.

According to the HLTV article, a Valve representative told the outlet, “We would not accept a team's title sponsor/brand also being a sponsor of the tournament at any level.”

In the past, teams like BetBoom competed in events such as BetBoom Dacha, giving credence to the idea that maybe BC.Game could attend an event bearing the same name as their team. However, events like BetBoom Dacha took place before the VRS system was implemented. Such conflicts of interest will evidently not be tolerated in 2026.

This situation leaves BC.Game at #23 in the Global VRS after acquiring SAW’s core, with a chance to climb the ranking at IEM Atlanta 2026.

BC Game Masters will start March 24th.
